The only direct flight to the South of France from the NY metro area is out of JFK.  Many folks prefer this option over leaving from Newark and changing planes in Paris.  Either way, it's worth the effort.  But if you don't have time for traffic on the Staten Island Expressway followed by eight hours wishing you had more leg room, we suggest following these directions.  It won't get you to Marseille or Nice, but it'll be pretty darn close.

From the Garden State Parkway, North or South:
Take GSP Exit 138.  At traffic light, turn left onto Boulevard.  Cross Michigan Avenue.
Le Rendez|Vous bistro is located on your right, on the corner of North 21st Street and Boulevard.

From Route 22 East:
Traveling Route 22 East, travel through Springfield, NJ. At McDonald's turn right onto Michigan Ave. At next light, turn right onto Boulevard. Le Rendez|Vous bistro is located on your right, on the corner of North 21st Street.

On the Boulevard or
Turn onto North 22nd Street, Left Parking Lot or
Turn onto South 21st Street, Left Parking Lot
